Jointly Advancing the Path of RFID Technology to Build an Intelligent Future Together

On September 19, 2023, the “RAIN RFID Innovations in the Asia Pacific Region” seminar, a cross-regional event bringing together the expertise of leading enterprises, was successfully held at the Courtyard by Marriott, Shenzhen Lian Tou Dongfang Hotel.

“Together with the RAIN Alliance, we will continue to stay at the forefront of the latest developments in RAIN RFID technology and, through innovation, provide high-quality products and services to clients worldwide, jointly promoting the advancement of RFID technology,”said Mr. Wen Guoping, General Manager of Xiamen Xindeco IoT.

Before the seminar began, Mr. Wen delivered the opening speech, expressing Xindeco IoT’s determination to work alongside the RAIN Alliance and industry partners to jointly create a promising global future for RAIN RFID applications.

“We sincerely hope that more Asian enterprises will understand and adopt RAIN RFID technology, join the RAIN Alliance, seize strategic opportunities, and collaboratively tackle challenges,”said Aileen Ryan, CEO and President of the RAIN Alliance.

Ms. Ryan provided insightful perspectives on the future of the Asia-Pacific RFID market, emphasizing the immense opportunities and growth potential within the region.

During the seminar, seven distinguished speakers from across the RFID industry shared their expertise on technology innovation, market trends, and industry developments. Mr. Qiu Yanwei, Manager of Xindeco IoT’s Technical Center Development Department, presented on “RFID + LED Related Applications”, sharing unique insights on RFID cross-domain integration. Dr. Yanli from JRI and Jeffrey Ye from Xerafy discussed RFID applications in the FMCG sector and RFID solutions delivering reliability and performance in key industries, inspiring the audience with practical insights.

Further discussions included Edi Wang from Zebra and Tim Wang from Arizon, who explored insights into the rapid development of RFID and new trends in eco-friendly antenna technology. Finally, Martijn Zwegers from ITEC and Robin Deng from Zhongshifa shared insights on precise device binding with RFID and the broad potential of RFID in healthcare applications.

At the conclusion of the event, Abby Wu, Asia-Pacific Chair of the RAIN Alliance and Deputy General Manager of Xindeco IoT’s Sales Center, summarized the RAIN Alliance Asia-Pacific team’s achievements over the past three years. She stated:
